Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This policy explains how we handle your personal information in plain English. No legal jargon — just a clear explanation of what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What Data We Collect and Why
1. Contact Form Enquiries
When you use the enquiry form on our website, we collect your name, preferred activity, and the message you send us.
Why we collect this: To respond to your enquiry. You reached out to us expecting a reply — that's what we use your information for, nothing else.
Lawful basis: Legitimate interests. You initiated contact and reasonably expect a response. We've weighed this carefully and are satisfied that our interest in responding to enquiries doesn't override your rights.
How it's delivered: Your enquiry is sent to us via Resend, an email delivery service. Resend is a US-based company that operates under appropriate data transfer safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses). Your data is processed by Resend only to deliver the email — they don't use it for anything else.
2. Website Analytics (Umami)
We use Umami to count page views on our website. Here's what that means in practice:
- Umami doesn't use cookies — we don't need a cookie banner because of it.
- Umami doesn't collect or store your IP address.
- Umami can't identify you personally — it only tells us how many people visited a page, not who they were.
Because Umami collects no personal data, no lawful basis is required under UK GDPR. We use this data purely to understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
3. WhatsApp Messages
If you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is processed by WhatsApp (owned by Meta) under their own Privacy Policy.
On our side: We use the information you share in the conversation — typically your name and what you're looking for — to respond to your enquiry and book a session. We don't add you to any lists or pass your details on to anyone else.
4. Phone Calls
If you call us, we may make a note of your name and what you're looking for so we can follow up properly.
Calls are not recorded. Any notes we make are used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Who We Share Data With
We share data with a small number of third-party services that help us run the website and respond to enquiries:
- Resend — email delivery service used to route your enquiry form submission to our inbox. Resend Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare — our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare handles the technical delivery of web pages. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your data. We do not add you to marketing lists. We do not share your information with anyone outside the services listed above.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Enquiry data (contact form submissions, notes from calls or WhatsApp conversations): retained for 12 months from the date of last contact, then deleted.
Umami analytics: no personal data is collected, so there's nothing to delete. Aggregated page view counts don't include any information that can identify you.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- ✓ Access — you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- ✓ Rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- ✓ Erasure — you can ask us to delete your data (subject to any legal obligations to keep it).
- ✓ Restriction — you can ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
- ✓ Objection — you can object to us processing your data on the basis of legitimate interests.
- ✓ Data portability — where technically feasible, you can ask for your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email@domain.com]. We'll respond within one calendar month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk — 0303 123 1113.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time — for example, if we start using a new service or if the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect when it was most recently revised. We won't make changes without good reason, and we'll keep the language plain.
